Week of Mar 2nd

Monday was gymnastics and playgroup at our house. Caitlin has found the couch so all of the girls would jump and roll on the couch. We put all the pillows down for a pit to jump in...loved it!
Tuesday Caitlin and I stayed home while Sydney was in school. It was yellow day so Sydney took her yellow blocks for show n tell. She showed the kids how she builds and counts the blocks. That night I went to adpi dinner while Matt put the girls to bed. Claire, Andrea and Kristin brought the babies so of course we talked about parenting all night.
Wednesday we tried Bloodworth's again for Caitlin's 12 mon. pictures. Brian, the new photographer who bought out George Bloodworth, brought his 2 dogs to help. Sydney could hold the dog in her lap so she was content. We finally got one smile but she was turned with her arm reaching out...still, we are done and that is that. After nap Andrea and Evie came over to play outside. Evie didn't care much for the wagon so we went inside to play with the kitchen. They stayed for dinner and played until bedtime.
Thursday when I picked Sydney up from school we took dinner to Andrea's house and saw the new baby. Sydney just had to tell Andrea that "Sydney has a baby too. Her name is Caitlin." Well she says aitlin because she can't say c yet.
Friday Audrey and the kids came over. When Madeleine walks into the house, the girls run off together not even looking back. They wanted to play in Sydney's room and wanted "privacy" as they would say. We spied on them and saw them playing baby. One would lie on the floor and the other would cover her up, read a book, feed her a bottle and paci and rub her hair. I got chill bumps watching them.
Saturday was beautiful outside. We played all morning in the culdesac and then ate lunch outside. Our neighbor, Angela, came over to play with Sydney. After nap, we went to mom's. Andrea and Evie came over too. Jim took Sydney to see the dogs while mom walked Caitlin around. Caitlin now cries when she is crawling...all she wants to do is hold our hands and help her walk. She is cruising but not standing on her own yet.
Sunday the time changed so we were in a little hurry to get to church. The girls didn't want to nap at the early hour but wanted to sleep later. We woke them up to go to the park so we could have them down tonight at 7:30. Usually it takes a couple of days to switch them over. It is now 8:10 and I still hear Sydney playing in her bed. She is being sweeter to Caitlin. The other day she was rubbing her head and saying "love you baby aitlin. want me to feed you?" I think she sees Caitlin trying to walk and knows she will have a playmate soon. Caitlin is babbling so much now and has learned to tilt the bottle and sippy cup up to drink. We are switching her over to whole milk this week and see if she will take it cold. She is signing more, waving hello and goodbye, tilting her head for sweet, hands up and down, and pointing to me when saying mamamama. We are working on all done, eat and milk.
