Week of Mar 26
Monday we went to gymnastics. Sydney got tackled by Thompson so she wouldn't get into the pit while he was there. Even after he apologized she sat on the side and eyed him. Playgroup was at KC's house. They got a new play area outside so the girls ran, slid, jumped and walked the balance beam logs.
Wednesday we met Andrea, Evie, dad and Shelley at the Bellevue park. We brought the wagon and a picnic lunch. The girls loved Grando pulling them in the wagon and Caitlin loved the swing. Shelley and Sydney slid down the slides and chased Evie around.
Friday mom stopped by and played with Sydney during Caitlin's nap. Sydney taught Nanny Go Fish and Memory and they sang songs together. Audrey and the kids came over. Mom got to see how cute Madeleine and Sydney play in the tent and jump on the pillows. We met Jevin and Melissa for dinner at Las Palmas. Sydney loved the chips of course. We went next door to TCBY and Sydney got sorbet with gummy bear sprinkles. We have been playing with her play doh ice cream parlor so ordering sprinkles was huge! I was so proud of myself for letting her order and not worrying about organic or sugar (I knew she wouldn't eat much anyway because of dinner).
Saturday I took Sydney to the Children's Theatre for "Lily's Purple Plastic Purse" show. She loved it. She took her purse too and would show me at least every 10 min. what she had inside (sparkly sunglasses, 3 shiny quarters and her phone with a picture of her on it). That afternoon we went to Green Hills Mall. We packed a lunch and ate in the mall. We got so many stares sitting on a bench eating our peanut butter sandwiches and grapes. Caitlin was entertained in the stroller and Sydney loved pushing her in it.
Sunday we went to church. After nap Matt took the girls to the park and met Andrea and Evie. I went to Dana's baby shower and did some more errands. That night we all made cookies together. "Daddy makes yummy cookies."
