Week of July 21st
Tuesday our friend, KC and Caroline, stopped by to play. She just had a new baby, Lily.
Wednesday we went to the library and met Andrea and Evie. I saw Evie walk! She started last week, one week before her birthday.
Thursday we went to dad's house. Jessie, Shelley and dad took Sydney outside to the pool.
Friday we met Audrey at Monkey's Treehouse. It was so packed we couldn't relax. For the first time, I saw Sydney's stress face. She would look up to find me in the crowd, and if she didn't see me right off, she yelled and had a worried face. Caitlin didn't sleep well in the car seat so I didn't enjoy too much of it. That night we went to the Sounds' baseball game. We met mom, Jim, Sandy and Johnny. Sydney loved it. They have a cat for a mascot so Sydney watched him all night. She ate some dippin' dots and danced to all the music. It is such a great kid atmosphere. I can't take her to football or hockey because the noise factor, but the Sounds wasn't too loud and they kept her attention. Caitlin got passed between the grandparents so she enjoyed herself too.
Saturday was Evie's 1st birthday party. We celebrated at Moss Wright Park. Andrea had a dunkin' booth, a photo booth, a bubble machine, and it was great weather. Evie didn't tear into the cake, but really enjoyed the tissue party when she was opening gifts. After the party, we went to dad's for their naps and then ate dinner by the pool, kinda celebrating dad's birthday. Jessie leaves Sunday morning for a 5 week trip to China so we stayed to hang with her a bit.
Sunday afternoon we went to Rebecca's house. Matt and Hammeth met for the first time and Maya and Sydney played.
