Week of Jan. 11th
Monday we filled some more boxes and played in the garage. Sydney was so funny pulling out baby toys and saying, "I loved this toy when I was a baby!" (like she remembered! HA!)
Tuesday night I hosted book club. We had a great turn out and an awesome discussion about Positive Discipline and Love and Logic. Five of us are trying to put our house on the market so we were all giving pointers.
Wednesday I had dinner with Jessie. We talked about wedding and all her plans.
Friday dad and Shelley came out to pick Sydney up. She was so thrilled to have an overnight with them. She packed her own bag and it included 4 panties, 3 nightgowns, 1 outfit, 4 pairs of socks and a hat. She then packed her toy bag with 4 deck of cards, Go Fish and Uno, markers, paper, crayons and books. She came back Saturday beaming and wanting to tell me about playing hide and seek and winning in Go Fish. That night she prayed for Grando and Gigi and hope they get enough rest. At night we think of a happy and sad moment and she said there were no sad moments that day.
Caitlin is in the independent phase. She wants to climb in the car by herself and screams if I help her in the car seat. Her favorite line is "Here ya go." She does pull out blue balls in the jumpy when we ask for blue. She loves markers and doesn't understand why she has to write on paper. She laughs constantly and loves to follow Sydney around. The best part about the day is to see her face when daddy walks in. She lights up, runs to him with open arms and screams "DADDY!"
