Week of March 7th
Monday the girls loved gymnastics! They now have matching leotards and wore them all day, even during naps. Audrey and the kids came over and of course Mad had to get into a leotard too! She brought me flyers for the Let It Shine camp this summer. We are thinking about doing a gymnastics camp for 6 sessions throughout the summer. It sounds fun but I worry about dropping Caitlin off.
Tuesday after school we went to Let It Shine to tour the place. The girls flipped out and watch the girls tumble- so interesting. It is much bigger than Harpeth. We talked about the camp and I decided we would try it this summer. This will give me 6 days to work while they play.
Wednesday was our evaluation at school. It went great and we are so glad it is over! After school we made a Costco and Sam's run. Bathing suits are out! Moms, get them quick because if you want matching, they are gone after a week. We came home and the girls wore their bathing suits the rest of the night.
Thursday I woke up so happy- the worry at school is gone and now we can just have fun! After school we came home to set up the house for Kelly's shower. They did really well setting up the chairs, tablecloths, platters, cleaning and cooking.
Friday the house was ready by 10 so instead of bringing out all the toys, we went to Chickfila to play and have lunch. We made it back just in time for naps and then Sandy picked them up at 3. The girls came over at 5 and we had a great turnout for the shower. Kelly lives in Switzerland so this was a chance for everyone to see her and meet Colin.
Saturday Matt and I cleaned up and then he put the trampoline together-record time of 2-3 hours. I picked up the girls and brought them home to their surprise. They jumped, jumped and jumped! They squeezed in a little dinner and then jumped until bedtime.
Sunday we woke up and realized the time changed-we missed church. It was a great morning- the girls jumped, Matt read the paper-downtime for everyone! That night we brought out the Easter boxes. They have hunted, hid and now categorizing the eggs.
We decided we are doing Pump It Up for Sydney's 5th birthday. She has told everyone, even people at the grocery store. The question is now, Do you do a family party and a friend party?
