Week of June 7th
Monday we went to the park for playgroup. It was KC's last time with us. She is moving to Virginia next week.
Tuesday we went to the Frist Center. The girls enjoyed the kid area, painting, cutting, making a kaleidoscope, etc. We saw glassblowing outside and the girls were amazed at the man making a fish out of glass.
Wednesday we ate breakfast in the car so we could go to zoo member morning. They open an hour early for members for free carousel rides. The girls loved picking out which animal they would ride next. We were hot and exhausted by 10 so we came home for lunch. This heat makes them take long naps so it is quite nice.
Thursday was gymnastics. Sydney wore her new black leotard from Target. ALL MOMS-do not buy a cheap leotard. They just ride up the bottom.
Friday we went to take pictures. We met mom for lunch at McAlisters. After naps Matt stayed home with Caitlin while I took Sydney to see Charlotte's Web. They had an excellent performance and she was glued to the play. Loved it!
Saturday I dropped the girls off at mom's so they could go to the Bloodworth reunion. I went and worked at church setting up for VBS.
Sunday started VBS. We went to church that morning for the opening during service. After naps we went back for dinner. Matt took Caitlin home and Sydney stayed with me. Callie came as her guest so she loved her group. I did a center with Claire...met lots of people.
