Week of Oct. 20th

Monday we went to gymnastics. For the first time, Sydney held herself swinging on the rope and she has started to hop with two feet (instead of skip running). That afternoon we met at the park for playgroup. Sydney and Maya are really playing well together. They like to scream loudly and push each other in the swing.
Tuesday and Thursday were school days. Sydney had picture day and looked so cute in her pink tights! Caitlin is feeling better and loves to sleep in her crib with the dog...it is getting harder to get her to fall asleep in the car seat and do errands.
Wednesday we went to library for storytime. We met Andrea and Evie and Shelley, Ari and Will. Mary Mary called on Sydney for her favorite color and Sydney froze. She knows how to raise the hand but then becomes shy.
Thursday Carolyn came over while Sydney was at school. She enjoyed holding Caitlin and couldn't believe how smiley she is.
Friday we had our Halloween Party for Mom's Club. Sydney and Caitlin are Little Bo Peep and the little lost sheep. Matt and Jevin stopped by the church to see them. We took some cute pictures of the girls with Maya and Lena. That night Sandy and Johnny came over so Matt and I could go to Nan's 30th birthday party. We enjoyed talking to Melissa and Chris Wyatt who are expecting a boy in January.
Saturday we went to Gentry's Farm. It was so much fun! We met Maya and her parents there so Sydney and Maya ran around together. It is such a great place for kids. We look forward to next year.
Sunday we went to church. Sydney is doing great walking into class...but she always has cheerios when I pick her up so she might be screaming once we are gone. That night we had Trunk or Treat at church. The girls' costumes were a hit. Sydney got overwhelmed with the music in the gym and too many people outside. She wouldn't walk up to the people handing out candy and just wanted us to hold her. Caitlin of course was smiling and giggles with her sheep costume. Sydney kept her hat on and held her crook the whole time. I was so proud!
