Week of May 4th
Monday we went to gymnastics. Kristin and baby Jacob came over for lunch. Sydney loved rocking him in the car seat and showing Kristin her big girl room.
Tuesday was Fun Day at her school. Sandy came out to sit with Caitlin so I could eat lunch at Sydney's school.
Wednesday we dropped Caitlin off at Sandy's. I took Sydney to get new shoes and then to her first dentist appointment. I was so proud! Marty had a baby doll and all the equipment for Sydney to play dentist. She watched me get my teeth clean and then it was her turn. She hopped right up in the chair and opened her mouth. She wasn't scared or anything. Marty counted her teeth, cleaned a little bit and then let her pick out a new toothbrush. Sydney was so excited and kept smiling to show her clean teeth.
Thursday we went to Sydney's school for "Moments with Mom." She made me a handprint plate and a beautiful framed picture. She fed Caitlin some fruit and loved showing us her art on the wall.
Friday morning we had some friends stop by our yard sale so we stayed home. Audrey and the kids came over after nap. We ate dinner and then the girls took a bath together. They were so excited to show each other their night gowns and their wet hair. After they left Matt took the girls to mom's house for bedtime. They spent the night at mom's so we could prepare for Saturday's Yard Sale. It sprinkled a little Saturday morning but the turn out was great. We sold more than half of our stuff. Mom brought the girls out for lunch and helped put them to sleep. After naps Sandy, Johnny, Jevin and Melissa came over to celebrate Mother's Day. Sydney had picked out peppermints for Gama and was thrilled to give them to her.
Sunday Matt took Sydney to the park and then we all had a picnic lunch. After nap we went to mom's for Mother's Day. Sydney had fun picking out chocolate almonds for Nanny. Caitlin is now standing alone for about 10 seconds and taking 1-2 steps. She is almost there! Her new sign is sniffing when I ask her if she wants a tissue.
