Month of October
October was our busiest month of the year. So many fun things happened- Andrew's wedding was beautiful. We warmly welcome Epiphany and the girls love their new aunt. Mom and I took the girls to Dollywood for some good ole fun! The park was empty so we rode each ride at least 10 times. On our way back we stopped to pick up our NEW DOG! We have been searching online for a rescue dog and waiting for the right fit. We drove to Giles Cty to meet our new bundle of joy! His name was Kirby and was at the shelter for a few months. We took a week to come up with his new name, Sparky. The girls really wanted Sparkles (the name of our toothfairy), so Sparky was the boy compromise name. Mom took the grandkids to Disney on Ice. We went horseback riding with AHG. Matt and I took Caitlin to her first UT football game. We stayed one night in the hotel and one night with Jenni. She loved having a slumber party with Alexander. And it was October so we went to the zoo for Halloween, trunk or treat at the church and trick or treating in our neighborhood.
Say hello to Matt who works at Regal Cinemas! HA!
Sydney trying to get Papa to dance with her.
Mom took the grandkids to Disney on Ice and they loved it!
Caitlin was so excited to ride on the horse with pink hair!
Sydney was the last one to get on a horse and this is the one they brought out- a Rainbow Horse!
Caitlin age 5 at her first game.
She didn't care for the noise.
She stayed the whole game- we had peanuts, popcorn, m & ms and ice cream to help get us through.
She enjoyed being the only girl playing with 4 boys!
Dollywood!
She is the only one on the ride!
We kept a friend's dog as a trial run to see if we even liked a dog. The girls did great playing, feeding and taking care of him.
This is Sparky on the first day we got him! He is 14 pds so just the right size for us. Sydney feeds him in the morning and Caitlin feeds him at night. We tried the first night to crate him at bedtime and I just couldn't do it. I let him out- he jumped on our bed, got under the covers and pulls his head out and lays it on the pillow. PRECIOUS!
Trick or Treat!
The zoo was freezing but Rapunzel kept smiling!
This is at our church with cousins!
They both pulled out the seeds this year!
