Week of Nov. 5th

This week was preparing for Caitlin's surgery on Friday. We had fall fun outside riding bikes and playing in leaves. On Friday, Andrea picked up Sydney and kept her for an overnight. Caitlin had her umbilical hernia surgery. She was very timid at first, wouldn't speak to the nurses. There is lots of waiting and people asking questions prior to the big moment. Caitlin just couldn't get comfortable so they gave her some medicine. After that, she was giddy and talking about stars in the air!

Sydney had 50's Day at her school. Her favorite part was dancing to the "twist."
 Before medicine...
 After medicine.
It took a while for Caitlin to wake up. She kept mumbling and finally we understood she was asking for a wheelchair.
Thanks Grando and Gigi for the cookies.
Thanks Andrea for bringing balloons, cupcakes and a game. We are so blessed with family. Thanks for the cards and goodie packages.
Sydney and Evie sleepover!
American Heritage Girls walked in the Veterans' Day Parade.
