Week of Nov. 1
This weekend we took Sydney to her first football game at UT. It was our first trip in the van so she watched movies-Tinkerbell, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears. The hotel was a big hit. She loved the shampoo and conditioner bottles just her size. Her big decision-"Who do I sleep with?" She slept one night with me and the next night with Matt. Saturday morning we went to see Jenni and the triplet boys. She is hanging in there and has wonderful help with her mom and grandma. We drove to campus and walked around showing her the UC, Library, Humanities and Circle Park. For Homecoming, they had Party in the Park where we met the Wyatt family. Lucy and Sydney loved the face painting, decorating a koozie and the pouring sand in a football bottle. We walked to over to Will's tailgate and let the kids run! Walking into the game was hectic for her-she didn't care for the crowds. Thanks to Jeff Cathey, we sat on the first row in the upper deck so she had a rail and could walk around. Gama and Granddaddy sat with us the first half and she loved their binoculars. She enjoyed the band and Matt loved telling her all about the game. Sunday we stopped by Bobby and Teri's house and then drove back to Nashville. We picked up Caitlin at mom's house and went to Molly's dedication at her church. It was such a wonderful weekend! That night we asked her if she had a favorite part of the weekend-"Picking out Smokey lovey at the bookstore!"
